Volunteer Opportunities

Making our growing Alumni program a success requires the combined efforts of our alumni, alumni parents, and OCS staff. We want this program to be what you want it to be, so we are asking for your assistance as volunteers in helping to plan and implement upcoming alumni events throughout the year.

How can you help? Glad you asked!

  • Homecoming 2007 - Friday, November 9

    Starting with a planning meeting at the end of September, alumni parents will create a fun, pre-game reception for our alumni that ties into the overall OCS Homecoming 2007 theme. The party is attended by alums, alumni parents, faculty, and staff, and will once again be held in the OCS Café. Volunteer to help plan and implement this lively event! Click here to volunteer!

  • Holiday Alumni Activities - November / December 2007

    Holiday breaks bring our alums back to town, and thus are perfect times for alumni gatherings. Last year an OCS alumni soccer game, basketball game, and ice skating party all took place during the holidays. Some were well-attended, others could have been better. What would you like to do as alums, and when? Thanksgiving? Christmas? Summertime? We need your input! Please email us with your suggestions at ksadler@oakschristian.org. Then be sure to attend!

  • 5-Year Reunion

    Next year will be a benchmark for our first graduating class of 2003 and for our school -- our first 5-Year Reunion! A celebration is anticipated for next summer when most alums will hopefully be available to attend. We are currently looking for interested 2003 alumni to jump on board and help with the planning, to make this a truly momentous event. Just sign up at ksadler@oakschristian.org.
