Applying to Oaks Christian
We are delighted that you have chosen to apply to Oaks Christian School. We look forward to working with you and your family to see if Oaks Christian is a good match for you. To apply, follow these steps:
Step #1 - Getting started:
Submit our On-Line Application between October 1, 2008 and February 1, 2009
The application deadline is February 1st. Please apply early!
Step #2 - Within the on-line application:
Enter Email Addresses for On-Line Letters of Recommendation
Within the application and prior to submission, you must enter the email addresses for the following:
a. Current English teacher
b. Current Math teacher
c. Current Principal/Head of School
d. Pastor/Clergy Recommendation
Step #3 – While you are completing the application:
Register for the ISEE Entrance Examination – Our School Code is #054287
All applicants are required to take the Independent School Entrance Exam.

• To contact ISEE, call 1-800-446-0320.
The test will be administered at Oaks Christian School from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on:
• December 13, 2008
• January 10, 2009
• January 31, 2009
Registration fees increase each week beginning three weeks from the test date.
Step #4 - Once we receive the application:
Schedule a Student and Parent Interview
The Office of Admissions will contact you for an interview. The interview consists of meeting with the applicant for about 15 minutes and both parents for about 30 minutes. At the interview, you will be asked to sign the Parent and Student Commitment Form and to provide a recent photograph of the applicant.
Step #5 – After the New Year:
By February 15, 2009 - Submit Official Grades/Report Cards/Transcripts
In mid- January, we will send you an Authorization for Release of Applicant’s Records for you to sign and submit directly to the student’s school. We require official copies of the applicant’s academic records from 2006, 2007 and 2008.
*Admissions Decision Letters mailed March 15, 2009.
